The Competitive Discretionary Funding Program (CDFP) provides internal funds to support research opportunities that have significant potential for external funding and that support the research/scholarly
thrusts of departments, colleges and the University. Requests for bridging of grants and seed funding needed for resubmission of a grant application are the types of applications that will be considered.
